If anyone knows me well enough, they know that I don't want to live in Utah for the rest of my life. Yet I've been here for 7 years and bought a condo here. Funny, I know. Lately, though, I've been feeling so much
gratitude for living here. (Maybe because the weather has been so amazing.) Utah really is a beautiful place. I love the mountains. I love the communities. I love having Salt Lake City so close!

Friday night, Melanie, her family, and I took an old family friend (ok, he was Mel's 4th grade teacher who turned into a family friend...Mr. Williams) to The Garden for dinner. The Garden is one of the restaurants on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial building. He is from Atlanta and had never seen Temple Square before. Of course, we had to show him that! He was amazed at the beauty of the Temple. Walking from his hotel to Temple Square reminded me how much I love Salt Lake. It is a beautiful city with so much to see! It was still light outside while walking to the restaurant so we could see the beauty of the Temple in the daytime. By the time we finished, it was dark. The Temple is so beautiful lit up at night. What a sight!

Sweet little Mason leaned over to Mr. Williams during dinner and told him "Angel Ramoni is on top of the Temple." We laughed and said "Angel MORONI" and Mason said "Yeah, Angel Ramoni!" What a cute little missionary at the young age of 4. :) I am
grateful for the city of Salt Lake and to be living so close to Temple Square!
